Clay has always intrigued Ros, because of the endless possibilities it presents. Her birds and fish comprise combinations of brightly glazed porcelain that are allowed to emerge from reclaimed found objects, creating unique pieces. Ros is often found rummaging in junk shops and at flea markets discovering objects for her next ceramic curation.

After gaining her First Class Degree in Ceramic & Print Ros taught ceramics to all levels, including undergraduates. Her work takes her across the UK & beyond, exhibiting at many annual ceramic festivals including Potfest, and The Potter’s Jolley in Warwickshire. She also regularly takes part in Warwickshire Open Studios where she exhibits with fellow local artists in her hometown of Stratford upon Avon.

Ros is regularly invited to work with the Shakespeare Birthplace who commission her to work with schools and community groups. Over the past five years she has built a reputation for her animal sculpting workshops. All abilities are welcome, on these one day creative events.
