Gaby Spencer
Printmaker
Gaby is a printmaker whose work weaves together storytelling, folklore, and the natural world.
Working from her home studio in the Cotswolds, she draws inspiration from the shifting landscapes around her and the quiet narratives held within them. Using a range of printmaking techniques, such as drypoint etching, collagraph, and linocuts, Gaby creates works that invite viewers to step into other worlds; places where myth and memory intertwine. Each piece is crafted as a story in its own right: a glimpse into imagined terrains shaped by the mysteries of nature and the echoes of old tales. Gaby’s background in graphic design plays a significant role in her practice, helping her approach each composition with a careful eye for balance, rhythm, and visual harmony. Through this blend of design sensitivity and traditional printmaking methods Gaby aims to create work that feels timeless and immersive, offering moments of reflection, curiosity and wonder.
