Thomas Eddolls is a fully qualified cabinet maker attaining his city and guilds certificates with distinction following a three year apprenticeship.
From here he moved on to work in some of the country’s most respected designer furniture making workshops including Robin Furlong furniture and Waywood furniture creation.
Being lucky enough to have worked along such talented artisans has enabled Tom to develop a wide range of skills as well as an eye for detail and proportion.
The logical step for Tom was to begin to make to his own designs, indulging his artistic side, wood being an enjoyable medium both pleasing to the hand and the eye.
Tom balances employment with undertaking one off pieces for show/sale and is open to commissions, preferring not to be restricted to any one style, whilst maintaining a contemporary edge.
Tom is inspired by the ethos of the arts and crafts movement and enjoy’s employing traditional hand skills, fuelled by a passion for fine craftsmanship.
